As Michael Jackson said, This is it, and for SOOTH, this really is it! A few months ago we all went our seperate ways to experience a life without Sooth, however as we had started recording 'No More Secrets', we thought it was right to finish it. 3 months later, here it is, fresh out of the oven like a warm loaf ae breed, stuffed with strings, timpanis, choral females, and of course lashings of the RAWK that Sooth love to dish out. Or at least we did love to dish out - now we're only dishing out fries at McDonalds and Burger King; the dream is over and we're now broke, homeless, and wishing you would give us 10p for a bus fare.
Jools Holland's hootenany and Wembley stadium will never know what they missed, and the Daily Mail will never get that scoop on us falling out of Stringfellows with 14 lovely ladies in tow. Rolls Royce are in no danger of losing any of their motors to a swimming pool, and hotel tellies remain safe for the enjoyment of their guests. Yes, it really is over - the van's broke doon (see what I did there?) But now the main event - No More Secrets is now up for your downloading pleasure right on this very site. Click 'Audio' up above and it's the very first item. We put a lot of work into this song, and so did many of our pals - we'd like to thank Annemarie and Fiona of Cairn String Quartet, Louis of Brother Louis Collective, Rachael and Trisha for their vocals, and Derek Bates of EH Studios for their help on the track and their awesome banter. Last but not least, cheers to our very own Malcolm Frew for recording and mixing the track.
In addition to No More Secrets, we have put every single Sooth track up for download. We hope you enjoy listening to them as much as we enjoyed making them, or at the very least we hope that in 30 years you'll find these ancient mp3s and think 'I used to know this band ages ago, they were awesome!' - that's exactly what we'll be doing. They really were great times and we'd like to thank everyone who came and seen us or generally hung about and had a laugh, it's been fun. Thank you all, SOOTH
