That's right, the word of the week is gigsarooni - just because you haven't heard of it before doesn't mean I invented it 2 minutes ago. The literal meaning is 'A heightened state of excitement shortly before impending Sooth gigs'. Its proper use in context is "Oh man, Gigsarooni!". So you may be able to guess that Sooth are playing 3 times this week and we would love you to be there. 

I don't think any of us have ever been to Kilmarnock before, which is funny considering it's just down the road from us. I do know they make the best pies though as that advert was running for a good six months there, so we are looking forward to taking a jaunt down the M77 and bringing the RAWK with us. I'm quite hungry now actually with all this talk of pies and I really fancy a nice Scotch number, or I might take a wander down to the local butcher and invest in some steak action. Mmmmmmmm.... pies! 

Wednesday 25th February: Whistle Binkies, Edinburgh 

Sooth return to Edinburgh! We are excited about this as it is the first Sooth gig in Edinburgh for a number of years - We love our capital city and actually spend a lot of time there, given the fact that 3 sooths work in Edinburgh and 1 lives there, so we thought it was high time that we corrected the situation and brought some RAWK. What a place to do it in as well - a great pub slap bang in the middle of the city, just off the royal mile. Don't get much better than that. 

And so we are back in Glasgow, truly the home of Sooth, where we practice twice a week and frequent a public house or two. And would you look at that - it's a Friday night, so there's no excuse to stay at home with your knock off Nigel knock off DVDs when you can be out doing a little dance, making a little love, and generally getting down tonight! The Classic Grand is such a great venue so we want to see you out in force like the troopers your are. We even have a logo to show you we mean business, check it out: 

If you have been at any of our recent gigs then you will have heard us play 'No More Secrets', and we hope you liked it because we certainly do. That is why we are spending our evenings recording it with our very own Malcolm Frew, so you can have a little bit of Sooth everywhere you go. We have pretty much finished the normal stuff we usually do when recording and are now concentrating on the extra dose of specialness that we told you about the last time, which is where Louis Abbot comes in. He's one of the chaps that has added some specialness, but more so because we discovered we can just sing the words 'Louis Abbot' over the verse rather than the real lyrics so we might just do that instead... We have other very special people involved as well, so sit tight and wait for that one.
